Story time with the Happy Juice Chick


Once upon a time, a progressive village had a tradition of celebrating mental awareness every spring as hopes and dreams were emerging after dreary winters. It was called the Happy Juice Party, where people would gather and share their stories on how they maintained mental wellness for positivity, productivity, and prosperity.


One year, a young woman named Lily missed the party because of chores, obligations, troubling ledgers, and not feeling very sociable. She heard from her friends how amazing the party was and how they won prizes for sharing their experiences. Lily felt disappointed realizing she missed an opportunity to learn about self-care and how being mindful of it could reshape her life and the prosperity of her herb and flower farm.






Lily decided to seek out the wisest person in the village to learn more about mental self-care. She went into town and found a shop that her friend Emily had told her about, and met Nelea who was also known as the Happy Juice Chick. Nelea told her the story of a great queen who had once struggled with balance in running a kingdom, supporting her health, and nurturing her family.


The Queen with many responsibilities was starting to feel overwhelmed with self-doubt, feelings of stress and anxiousness, moodiness, sleepless nights, unexplained bloating and weight gain, brain fog, and low energy. She was hiding feelings of helplessness and hopelessness from the King, the court, and the land. Until. She had counsel with the Happy Juice Chick who taught her the value of mindfulness, true self-care, and the benefits of three powders to drink daily in water. The Queen learned to take care of her physical health more holistically, nourish her body with nutrition, and her mind and heart with positive thoughts and purpose. She eventually felt more motivated, became stronger and more resilient than ever before – even strengthened and added great wealth to her personal private lands and properties.





Lily realized that mental fitness is a journey that required dedication and self-awareness, being able to pivot, learn and grow. She thanked the Happy Juice Chick for the powerful story of the Queen's legacy and made a commitment to take better care of her mental, emotional, and physical health.


Lily vowed to practice mindfulness and self-care every day. She started journaling, creating goals for the bigger vision of her herb and flower farm, mixing her happy juice powders every morning, going on walks, and taking breaks to recharge when she felt overwhelmed. And so it was that she realized there was more to the spring party than winning prizes, it was about making a conscious decision to prioritize one’s well-being with the help of community and friends.


The next spring when the Happy Juice Party came around, she was in a much better place physically, emotionally, and mentally. She shared her own journey of self-discovery, gratitude, and the prosperity of her farm with others. She became a trusted mental self-care advocate in the village, inspiring others to prioritize their mental health and to journey towards greater wellbeing. What's your dream? In coaching others I ask this question often and most people have a dream. Some dream of change, accomplishment, a successful business, improving their health, winning a race, retirement, freedom, a bucket list for life, and what they want for their family. I've listened and heard vivid descriptions of what their dream will feel like and other times felt the trepidation from some to claim their dreams. Sometimes they're unsure if they deserve their dreams or don't see the path for their vision. Whether you're wildly enthusiastic about your dreams or haven't entirely embraced them, let's talk about pursuing them.



Write down your goals and use these questions to speed up delivery of your dream.


1. What's your biggest priority in this lifetime?


What's most important for you to experience, explore, or embrace? Until you answer this question, your life goals will be off purpose. Unaligned with your inner passion, your intentions will lack the power to attract the people and situations necessary to achieve your goals and dreams.


Get clued into your true joy. What activities did you enjoy as a child? What are your hobbies now? When your goals are aligned with your soul, synchronicity kicks in to guide you to your target.


2. Is this your dream, or someone else's?


Are your goals your own choice, or what others think you should strive for? Do you want to look back in your old age and wish you had followed your passion? Will you regret having "played it safe?"


Is it selfish to go after your own dream? What joy can you give to others if you haven't given it to yourself first?


3. Are you settling for less than?


Are you resigned to accepting less than your full share of love, health, and success during your lifetime? Have you compromised and sacrificed your dream? Anything short of living your true passions will never make you happy.


4. What will you feel like when you reach your dream?


Personal passion fuels a vision. Dive into the thrill and exhilaration of the feeling of living your dream.


The Hawaiian Kahuna say, "Where your creative attention flows, so flows your life."


5. What steps can you take today toward your dream?


Don't defer your dream. Set up support and systems around you to instantly translate your intentions into action. Jump on every opportunity that is in line with your purpose and vision.


Are there smaller projects that lead to your larger dream? If the dream is to run a marathon, train for a local fun-run first. And find a way to measure your progress. Track those little wins by writing in a journal or telling a friend.


6. Are you telling yourself "I can't have my dream?"


Most people don't believe they can live their dream. Either their belief system has them believing they can't make a living doing what they love, or they feel they don't deserve their dream. To avoid the pain of feeling they can't have their dream, people often keep their dream so buried they can't remember they ever had a dream.
